Ladie Killerz is a weekend long, traveling festival, celebrating ladies and their killer skills in all things art, music, film and graffiti!
Ladie Killerz started 4 years ago as a bunch of likeminded, graffiti loving, girls with a taste for trouble, a need to paint, a love of the party and a hankering for a change of scenery. Since the original gathering and paint ja...m in Brisbane, Ladie Killerz has also hit Adelaide twice now and grown into a 3 day festival. The festival in the past has included an all ladie art exhibition and sale, live music gigs, a film fest, and a chance to PARTY and meet other likeminded artists from around Australia, and have- the REASON were all here - a MASSIVE all ladie graffiti paint jam!!

This year –Melbourne - will host Ladie Killerz!
from Friday 29th April - Sunday May 1st 2011, and will be held at The Faction, 1-5 Wightman St Footscray

This years LK will include an art exhibition and sale, a huge opening night party incl dj’s (acts to be confirmed) and performers and MASSIVE paint jam which includes some of your fave ladie graffiti artists from Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth and of course Melburn. It is looking like it’s going to be the biggest yet!
Get Involved!

Graffiti Jam
Contact Sam or Joske about spot availability on the wall(s)…we may have to find some more room to fit everyone - hit me back to confirm and whether you want to do pieces or charos- so we can get an idea of numbers and space.
*Ladies wanting to paint will have to supply their own paint and STICK to the production theme and colour scheme!! Ugh.
We will let you know these closer to the day and we can pick up paint pre ordered by interstaters from Giant or This Is It here in Melburn for them.

Art Exhibition
All female artists of all mediums and styles are invited to participate in the Ladie Killerz exhibition!
It is FREE to exhibit.
Limit of 3x pieces per artist. (no bigger than 1.5m x 1.5m please!)
15% commission goes to gallery from sale of artwork.

Artwork needs to be sent or delivered to The Faction by Friday April 22nd at the latest.

Music

Workshops, Market and Volunteer Opportunities
If you would like to take advantage of the high traffic of LK and do a workshop or organize a market during this year's LK, get back to me ASAP to discuss. You would be responsible for setting up and running.
Volunteer Positions Available:
Even if you don’t paint, you can be a part of LK by helping us out on opening night..and during paint hours…lots to do…NOT gender specific!
